Modmic 5 buzzing/hissing?

I just installed modmic 5 to the back of my computer. And there's couple of problems. First the voice is slow. Second theres buzzing and hissing sound. How can i fix? I have microphone boost all the way down because if i put that to the middle or all the way up i get the buzzing sound doubled.

How did you plugged it ? Did you try to down volume gain ? I was at 100% when I installed it, down to 50% and no more buzzing.

Depending on the type of buzz there are a variety of solutions. Start with this post:

Odds are it is EMI, which you can fix with something like Reaper (free) as the article suggests or via a USB (probably the better way, but it isn't free).

 

If it is not EMI the fix may be trickier.

 

However, "Voice is slow" is ... not a usual item I hear. I'm not entirely sure what you mean by that. Slow as in its not transmitting correctly or slow as in there's a delay between speech and hearing, and if the latter is the case - what are you using to test this and what are you comparing it to?

How can i set the gain i dont know how to do it?
