I am under the impression that he has it setup as such:

Res

Pump

CPU

GPU

Rad

Rad

Repeat

Why doesn't he go res>pump>CPU>Rad>GPU>Rad repeat?

In a tight build like that, I think he just did what was easiest.

Storage: 2TB SSD + 4TB HDD Audio: SMSL 793ii -> HiFiman HE-400 + Mission MS-50 Speakers

There is no reason. As he stated in the video he said the only thing that matters is that it goes res - pump and preferably the pump is lower than the res
