routers bridges and stuff

okay guys so I have an idea, I am currently using some bt router, and I have a powerline adapter taking Ethernet up stairs in my room, were there is no wireless, I have another old bt router I thought I could use as a Ethernet splitter and a bridge? there is a broadband socket a phoneline socket and 4 Ethernet socket how would I get that to use wireless??
