So, I did a clean reinstall of Windows due to nearly all of my games crashing within the first 10-15 minutes of gameplay. Once I did, I reverted all of my bios settings to default along with all of my overclocks. So, I decided overclocking my ram again because of the performance gains it brings to Ryzen. I used xmp on my Corsair vengeance lpx ram on 3200mhz with timings of 16-18-18-36 on 1.35v. I decided to run some memory tests with Windows Memory Diagnostics, and it passed the standard tests. I decided to look for a 2nd opinion, so I decided to run memtest86. And on the first pass, 7 errors showed up in tests 8 and 9. And it said the CPU number at the end of the sentence. So is this a CPU issue or a Memory issue? And how do I differenciate from CPU and memory errors? If it was a CPU error, I would not be too surprised since, when I installed the CPU, it fell off because I did it incorrectly and one of the pins was bent, so I bent it back into shape and it worked perfectly.

Did you overclock both your processor and memory or is the processor currently at stock with the memory running at 3200MHz and with timings of 16-18-18-36 while you were running the test?
