So I was asking myself if I would be able to make a VPN server on my old computer (I also have a server from which I will strip some parts) . I would like to try this as a science experiment but maybe I could use it to have a faster wifi for myself, idk really. I would like to know how to do this if it is at all possible.聽

There are many tutorials online for setting up VPNs, here's one from DigitalOcean (it's a VPS corp but you can just use a local machine) for setting up an OpenVPN server on Ubuntu 18.04:
