Hiya guys,

i was just having some troubles with one of my hard drives recently as it has deleted some programs without me ever uninstalling them or removing them myself.
i unplugged and plugged the hard drive back in while my computer was turned off and it seems to have led to this loss of data.
i was just wondering as to whether anyone else has experienced such an issue and how i can avoid it happening again.

make sure there is nothing with any source of power connected to the pc before unplugging the hard drive, though that was just a freak accident since Sata is plug and play.
