So I have a MSI rx 580 8gb and my games have been crashing lately with it, black screen, windows then appears and is showing the crash report for the game. And now, it just went black, has been that way for an hour. So I fully powered it off which was holding the power button for 10 seconds. Just a tap wouldn’t turn it off as it usually does. The monitors will now show no input whatsoever. Please help.

I have a feeling it is overheating. My friend has the same card if it is the armor edition and it keeps getting over 90C and shutting off because of its max heat. Try adjusting the fans to be more aggressive on your case and card using the BIOS, Radeon Settings, and MSI afterburner.

What you can do right now is check the thermal with afterburner, if its above 80 close to 100 then its a temp problem.

Dismantle the unit and reapply all paste.

It is not overheating. It is always at 55 max when gaming according to afterburner. That isn’t the problem.
