Hey so i have been using an Ethernet cable recently due to wireless networking for gaming on p was not cutting it anymore. However, recently windows says 'Unidentified Network' and ,No internet, when my Ethernet cable is plugged in. It also says Ethernet does not have a valid IP configuration. Any suggestions on a fix?????

I would try to uninstall the ethernet drivers and reinstall them.

If that doesn't work, maybe something on your local network (the physical things like cables or switches) are damaged or mal functioning

I'd definitely try a different cable as its odd its getting no packets at all incoming.

Also, is it supposed to be only 100Mbit?  That could also suggest a cable problem if you are connected to a 1Gbit port.
