Defender blocking all external browsers

Fresh install last week, all working fine until creators update, after update only Edge will work fine with defender enabled, if i disable defender other browsers work but not quite right they are still slow and only allow 3 o 4 tabs where i had 30 tabs before the update with no change in performance.
