Step 1: Power off PC

Step 2: Remove GPU

Step 3: Plug monitor into onboard GPU/Motherboard

Step 4: Boot into Windows

Step 5: Go into Programs List, uninstall anything NVIDIA

Step 6: Reboot PC

Step 7: Power off PC

Step 8: Reinstall GPU

Step 9: Plug Monitor back  into GPU

Step 10: Try and boot

 

At this point, either the monitor comes on, and you can install new drivers, or it doesn't, and you might have to reinstall Windows or perform additional troubleshooting.
