TV Upgrade

So i've been thinking of upgrading my TV, right now i just have a generic a 42" 1080p tv and it's alright but would like something bigger. i have an original Xbox One and a PS4 slim and not really looking to upgrade either of them until next gen consoles come out but should i still get a 4K TV? i found a 55" 1080p one but it's the same price as a 4K one and i feel like it would be to low res for 55"

Will the picture be blurry if i play 1080p games/videos on a 4K TV? or is it fine and will become even better res once i get a new console?

lower rez on higher rez monitors is just fine. the console allready upscales 900p iirc. 

 

try aiming for modern Samsung displays. they have adaptive sync included (freesync) which will work with upcomming consoles.
