Doubt about Windows 10 Users

GabrielFerrazTPU
Go to solution Solved by NelizMastr,

You can. The easiest way to do this is to setup a password on each account. That's a good idea anyway.

The other option is to disable auto logon this way:

Quote

How To Disable:

  1. Press Win+R, enter "netplwiz", which will open the "User Accounts" window.
  2. Check the “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer” option and click Apply.
  3. You’re done. Restart your computer and the system will prompt you to enter your password at the login screen.

Hello everyone, good morning, afternoon, and good night to you all.

My doubt is this...

When i was using Windows 7, when i booted my PC when i reached the Logon Screen i could choose a profile to logon, however in Windows 10, the OS just log in, in the last user that was logged in the last seasion. I'd like to know if there is a way to configure it to be like Windows 7 where you can choose which profile you want to login.

Thank you.

First of all thanks for the reply.

And i tryed using a password, the problem is the other people forgetting the password hahaha. I'd like a way without it.

When you say "Check the “Users must enter a username and password to use this computer” option and click Apply." you mean manually enter a Login and Password?

Do you have any link or video where i can see this working?

it's like on school or work. you literally type in the username and password on it, so you can't select accounts and it won't automaticly log in

You can set up guest account. With no password if you want.  Each account with a different setting.

You just need to setup different Microsoft account for each guest.

Just go

Setting

Accounts

Family and other people

Each time you log you will be ask to choose account

Nice, the thing you need to understand, for me will be easy to get used to, the problme is the other people who also use this computer who doesn't understand anything about it.

You log onto an account with admin privileges, then do as I quoted. If you don't know how to follow those instructions, you're going to have a bad time.

Thanks i'll try this method and i'll tell you later if it worked.

One other thing, its an Off-topic doubt.

I'm with another doubt about getting another SSD, my doubt is, is it ok to open more than this topic to answer my doubt?

They're not about the same thing. Is it ok?

Or is it against the Rules?

And an outdated solution at best. I'd personally discourage people to still consider Windows 7 since it's going EOL january next year.
