My brother has a ml360 from coolermaster, we would like to upgrade it, weather it be the pump or adding a resivour, it cools well but not well enough under high load with his 2700x on a high overclock.

I have seen people modify AIO's in the past and wanted to see if anyone had experience with this one specifically, or any of the other ML models?

It wouldn’t be recommended to open an AIO to expand it but theoretically speaking it is possible if you wanted to add a res.

Do they use standard fittings?

No AIO’s that are not expandable use barb fittings. One very important thing to note also is that most AIO are a mixed metal loop so you must use a compatible fluid.

Honestly it's not worth

1. AIO's dont use standard fittings

2. tracking down the metals used in AIO's to avoid galvanic corrosion is a hasle

3. it's probably more expensive than its worth

tbh if you want a custom loop go to ekwb fluid gaming website. They have really cheap, expandable custom loop kits and its all aluminum based and you can get kits for the price of AIO's plus you can expand into gpu cooling and hardline tubing in the future. I use the A240 kit in my Pc and it works great so if you want to go far a Resivor and shit just go with this, its easier, expandable and affordable
