Antlion Mod Mic audio issues

So I'm having issues with what sounds like electrical interference on my brand new Mod Mic 4.0. I've tried with usb sound card and integrated mobo sound and on two separate computers. Is it just that the mic itself is just bad? Do I need to contact Antlion?

You'll see on the video how it comes in and out. This was connected directly into the mobo but the same thing happened with a Sabrent USB sound card.
