So are there any really, huge differences between webcams?

Is getting a 1080p streaming webcam really worth it over 720p?

I mean Logitech has so many 720p cameras.

I'll be using this on my desktop for Skype, game streaming, and online classes.

Best Buy has like 100s of 720p webcams, and a few 1080p.

It's nice to have. I use a 1080p cam for twitch and prefer it.

Any specific one?

unless ur fullscreening your self on something like twitch or skype then 720p is just fine but some 1080p webcams will elt you do 720p@60fps. and we all know how much we gamers love frames

I stream in 30fps so it doesn't really matter tbh.

edit: in regards to 60fps.

so is it like where ua re in a small corner of ur screen or are u streaming just u ?

Well when I stream on twitch, everything being recorded is in 30fps.

It'll be the game and myself in the corner.

For skype, the person will see me in full screen.

I think the user would rather prefer the 1080p video but I don't think it has a profound effect on the quality of the stream. Find a webcam you like and just buy it.
