What CPU!

I have a Gtx 1050 TI in my system and a old AMD 6300 CPU. I am planing on upgrading my system and was thinking of getting a Ryzen 5 1600 CPU but i want to know if i will get a bottleneck and will this affect my gameplay as i will be majority gaming and browsing on my system. Please help with this as want to buy a new CPU, Mobo and RAm soon but need to know which CPU to go with?!

The 1050Ti isn't even bottlenecked by the FX6300 that much, so that's not really a big concern. The best bang for the buck CPU is the R5 2600. Get it with a decent B450 motherboard and 16GB of DDR4-3000 memory and you're set for roughly $300-350.

PC Specs - AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D MSI B550M Mortar - 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR4-3600 @ CL16 - ASRock RX7800XT 660p 1TBGB & Crucial P5 1TB Fractal Define Mini C CM V750v2 - Windows 11 Pro

well, the 2600 with a b450 and 16 gigs of ram is a solid choise for the price. you'll be bottlenecked by your gpu, but you'll get a lot better performence in games

b450 is a chipset, not a motherboard size...

atx, matx, depends on pricing and where you're confortable with

There won't be a bottleneck. You have a bottleneck now, the FX 6300 bottlenecks a GTX 1050Ti like my previous FX 8300 @ 4.4 GHz did my R9 380X.

nah, only the gpu holding it back, but that should be expected and isn't really a problem

That's right. The GPU will work with its full potential.
