Something like a FiiO Olympus E10 doesn't use the on-board audio hardware at all does it? It replaces it completely correct?! O.o So the Digital to Analog Converter that is on the motherboard isn't used anymore ?

That has to be right yeah?! Just checking that I get it right ;)

 

New to this audio stuff... xD

 

 

EDIT: I know what an AMP does btw ;)
