Hey guys,

So i just builded new pc (build log probably coming soon) i'm little confused by the temps i get running prime95. Current specs relevant to this: i7-4770k, swiftech h220 and Asus maximus vi hero.

So the one on the left is HWmonitor(Temps by motherboard) Middle is HWmonitor(Temps by CPU) and the right one is Asus: AI suite III.

As you can see the temps are very different and some of them sound very bad,

Appreciate advices.

Tge top two the bottom one is actually taken off the motherboard cpu temp sensor not the one inside the chip.

Asus suite usually bugs out on me so I use and trust hwmonitor more. Just use one temp sensor program at a time. Try going into asus suite and go to probe sensor uncheck CPU temp and just use hwmonitor instead.

CPU: Intel i5 3570k @4200 | Motherboard: ASUS P8Z77-V LK | RAM: 8gb Crucial Ballistix @1600 | GPU: Evga GTX 660 TI x2 SLI | Case: Corsair C70 | Storage: WD Black 1TB, Samsung 830 126GB SSD, Kingston V300 120GB SSD | PSU: Corsair HX850 | Display(s): ASUS 2ms 24inch 1920x1080 | Cooling: Corsair H100i | Keyboard: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate 13 | Mouse: Razer Naga 13

They are checking different sensors so no need.
