Hello everyone. Recently i built a new rig (still work in progress) and i have issues with the cooling.

Here are relevant specs:

NXZT H700i (1x 140 fan, 3x 120 fans)

z390 Taichi Ultimate

i9-9900K (hydro 115i pro for cooler)

Asus 2080 TI Strix O11G (built-in cooler)

Problem is, the gpu gets really hot (funny enough, i have no issues with cpu despite all the bad press). So if i close the glass panel, it gets really hot inside the case and card eventually reaches critical temps when playing games. If i leave the side panel open, i can play for hours without issues (the card reaches 65° celsius max).

It is obvious that current set-up (see screenshot) is not working and i need to readjust/upgrade the cooling of the system so i would be able to close the side panel. Suggestions how i could do it are very welcome :)

The top fans should be exhaust.

With the radiator of the CPU, and the front only intake fresh air

Yes. General rule of thumb is bottom and front intake, top and rear exhaust. The goal is to establish a unidirectional airflow. The current configuration actually works against that goal.

you dont really have much exhaust, flipping the top fans might help

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

You could try disabling the frontmost and/or front two top fans to see if either configuration improves gpu temps.
