Potential bottleneck

Over_Confident

Hi guys! So I am will probably upgrade my pc soon and was looking to buy these components : Ryzen 5 2600 and radeon rx 580. However, bottlenecker is telling me that my gpu is too weak for my cpu. Is it really true? I mean a rx 580 is not that bad.

It's perfectly fine. That calculator isn't accurate most of the time.

When it comes to gaming, you want headroom for your cpu, so your gpu isn't being bottlenecked! As long as you are leveraging the full capabilities of your gpu then there is no real bottleneck.

Maybe you should read more carefully.

It says "Your GPU is too weak for this CPU" which means it's a GPU Bottleneck and not a CPU Bottleneck. You are perfectly fine in that scenario.

Edit: as you can even read, they suggest you to go with a 1080 even, instead of the 580.

I read but I didn’t know that a gpu bottleneck was not problematic before reading your comment:)
