Sorry I hope I am posting this correctly on your site. I got a very interesting question for you guys. I don't have the parts to test this currently but... can you run sli in separate pairs and pass those pairs of two cards threw to vms? Basically use a motherboard like the X99-E-10G WS or the X99-WS/IPMI and then custome water cool 4 gpus running in 2 card sli configurations. Would that work? I know this motherboard supports 2, 3, and 4 way sli but.. I don't know if it will actually support 2 separate 2 way sli configurations. And I chose these motherboards for an example because they give each gpu more pcie band with rather then a board like the ASUS B250 MINING  because eventhough you have the ability to give the cards more room. It really was not designed for SLI or cards working together. It was designed for each separate card to have a problem for it to process on its own. And the other problem would be PCIE risers and bandwidth of the CPU because wats the point of doing this if the cards don't have 16x or 8x instead of a lousy 4x. So I really need your help linus to help me test this. Please make a vidoe.
