Are these PC componets compatable

Go to solution Solved by Crunchy Dragon,

Yes, except for one thing.

I'm not fully sure if @CableMod has a cable kit for the Seasonic Focus+ Gold units.

@NardWasTaken

yes, all is compatible, but i recommend you switch to a 650W power supply and with the money gained try to go for the 970 EVO 500GB.

other than that, that's a crazy build man, enjoy it

650W is way more than enough to overclock an 8700K and an RTX 2070.

you could even put an RTX 2080TI and an 8700K on a 650W PSU and overclock the shit out of that too with no problems, but i wouldn't recommend it because you should always have headroom.

here's a 650W PSU, it's 50$ lower

and suprisingly the 500GB is 50$ higher

@NardWasTaken

and watch out for the cablemod cables, and make sure they're compatible because you could fry your whole PC if they weren't.

Edit: oh wait, they're only extensions, ignore what i said.

thanks for your help, Crunchy Dragon said that they might not be compatible with Seasonic can you confirm this. If not would EVGA be an alternative for Seasonic

they're compatible, they are only extensions for the cables the PSU comes with, so you wouldn't plug them directly into the PSU but extend the ones you already have.

all is good, don't worry

CrunchyDragon and I thought they were replacement cables, those kind of cables would have to be compatible or else you would f*** shit up, but extensions are fine.

@NardWasTaken our SE-Series would be compatible with the Focus PSUs, or you could go with the RT-Series (newer kit) which has a pro kit available. I would definitely recommend checking that out as it would have everything you need for this build, and offers great improvements to overall build aesthetics. :)
