Wifi card not working

And I forgot the most obvious thing when troubleshooting this stuff, reset the router

My laptop can see networks but can't connect to them. When I press connect it attempts to connect, restarts the adapter, then just says "Can't connect to this network." I have tried a network reset with no success. When I booted up into a Bitdefender rescue cd to check if maybe it was a virus or something, it could not connect either. I opened my laptop to check if the signal wires were connected and reseated them along with the card itself and it still cannot connect to wifi but my USB dongle works.
