Lil Bit o Help?

Specs:

5960x oc to 4.4ghz Water cooled custom loop

Asus x99 Deluxe mobo

64gig Corsair dominator platinum

2 evga gtx 1080it ftw3 water cooled custom loop

Corsair hx1200i power supply

 

I built a pc in late 2015 early 2016 and it is now giving me the cpu red light, been running perfect up until yesterday when it rebooted itself and then would not post. Its suck on Q code 04 with the red light on the cpu. Ive checked everything (pulled ram, power supply is good as all fans run, pulled all peripherals) Would you guys say the mobo is dead or the CPU?

have you tried just resetting the BIOS? i had a X99 board from ASUS that would sometimes just randomly not post. but when i reset the BIOS it would post again no prob.

Rollinlower yes I have reset BIOS, and I've tried to clear cmos, all with the same result. When I push the power button its immediate red cpu light and code 04
