Problems with switching cd keys

Hello, I used to run my pc with a pirated windows, but I had ordered a product key 3 months ago, I activated it and windows even confirmed that It had been activated successfully. But out of curiosity I wanted check what's my current key, I downloaded an app that would let me do that and I saw that they don't match. So I activated my windows with the key again, but it then turned the key to "CD Key: BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB-BBBBB", the key I ordered is "

XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-46YQB"

TLDR; I want to activate a genuine key, but something is wrong and windows won't let me.

It's probably the KMS emulation you used to crack Windows messing with the activation process.

It's probably overkill but honestly I'd reinstall Windows just to be 100% sure you've removed all traces of it because you never know what crap it installs onto your PC.

Main Rig:-

Ryzen 7 3800X | Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming | 16GB Team Group Dark Pro 3600Mhz | Corsair MP600 1TB PCIe Gen 4 | Sapphire 5700 XT Pulse | Corsair H115i Platinum | WD Black 1TB | WD Green 4TB | EVGA SuperNOVA G3 650W | Asus TUF GT501 | Samsung C27HG70 1440p 144hz HDR FreeSync 2 | Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS |

Server:-

Intel NUC running Server 2019 + Synology DSM218+ with 2 x 4TB Toshiba NAS Ready HDDs (RAID0)

I'm not that mad, because I'm using a cloned OS from intel platform on AMD right now :D

You should. Windows installer will recognize there's another install and ask to save files to Windows.old folder in that drive. I would recommend you move anything you want to save anyway to be sure.
