Laptop NOT DETECTING Headphones

I just got a Razer Kraken Pro V2 today and my laptop doesn't detect my headphones but there was audio coming through but the mic does not work. My laptop is an Asus Strix Scar Edition. How can I fix this issue?

Does your laptop have a combo jack, or a separate connection for each headphone and mic?
