It seems to perform similarly to the Intel Stock cooler (so it's garbage): https://www.overclockersclub.com/reviews/cm_masterair_g100m/2.htm

Don't buy the G100M, keep your Hyper 212 EVO or get an Arctic Freezer 33 eSports ONE.

Pretty sure I remember Toms hardware calling it crap.

Hard to install, poor performance.

But it looks cool, if that's what your into...

It will fry your system instead ?

In my opinion, most of Cooler Master cases and coolers design are ridiculous.. They're selling looks over functionality, and they are overpriced, not worth the price/functionality. Except the Hyper 212 Black Edition, it's cheap and good looking black decent performer.

I prefer this Hyper 212 Black Edition looks than that flaming UFO stove..

The 212 Evo you already have performs better.

Which part of the aesthetic are you after? The rgb, the down-facing fan, or both?

No, it wouldn't fry the system. It's at least a bit better than the stock Spire cooler.

Most of CM's coolers are very functional and performance isn't far behind similarly priced competitors. The weakness in most of their coolers is in acoustics but that may be irrelevant to functionality for plenty of people.

some examples from PCPP::

Cooler Master - Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing CPU Cooler  ($24.89 @ OutletPC)
Cooler Master - Hyper 612 Ver.2 44.2 CFM Rifle Bearing CPU Cooler  ($37.89 @ OutletPC)
Cooler Master - MasterLiquid ML240L RGB 66.7 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler  ($69.99 @ B&H)
Cooler Master - MasterAir MA410P 66.7 CFM CPU Cooler  ($34.99 @ Amazon)
Cooler Master - MasterAir MA620P 53.4 CFM CPU Cooler  ($49.89 @ OutletPC)

Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Anyway, it was a joke along with that pics.. Pardon my bad joke.. ?

Maybe it was because that Air Maker 8 and its tech-tree line and most of their PC cases are ugly which gives me bad perception about Cooler Master in general except the 212 Black Edition and the Masterbox Q300L, and I hope I was wrong about it..
