Try to hit like 2933. How many XMP profiles are there?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Also, ram speeds are unfortunately not guaranteed. Intel's highest spec is 2400 and AMD's is 2666. Anything above that is out of spec, even though it mostly works

You can try manually inputting the voltage, timings, and frequency if XMP is not working.

not sure how to do that and i just posted my specs

Your MBO supports up to 3200 so we can eliminate that.

Can you check anything from this? I haven't used GB Ryzen boards, only MSI unfortunately so I am not sure how their UEFI looks. This is more of a how to.

The ability to google properly is a skill of its own.

You mean blue screen of death? If you set it up to 3000 MHz which is what both your RAM and MBO support, I am more than sure you won't get it. If you do, you should increase the voltage a bit manually.  For all Ryzen build that I did, I used XMP Profile 2 for 2933 and then set manually 3000, voltage on auto, no issues whatsoever. Mind you, I did not OC them since the users of those builds don't need that.

You can always downclock the RAM but I don't think there will be a need for that.

You can just hard reset (hold power button for 5 sec if you don't have the reset button), you can go back into bios, windows, you an do anything until you get BSOD again (if you even get it). It's basically an error screen which disappears when you reset the system.

I don't know how to do that and am afraid of messing stuff up

Then just don't overclock your ram.

You probably won't notice a difference anyway.
