Hello, I recently purchased a vega 64 to replace my rx 580, and in games like rise of the tomb raider i can max it out and get 90-110 fps at all times, but then in games like battlefield 1 and GTA V, I'm getting worse fps than with the rx 580, in gta v i went from getting 55-70 fps to 35-50 with the vega 64, the card isnt thermal throttling and I'm only getting worse fps in certain titles, my i7 3820 is aging but it should be enough to notice the gpu upgrade.

CPU: i7 3820@4.3Ghz GPU: Gtx 1060 RAM: 16gb HyperX Fury CASE: S340 Elite Cpu runs nice and hot ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

few suggestions

did you update bios

repair games

make sure no malware is running in the background

make sure its not being undervolted

worst case you can always return it and get a new one

Theres no malware running in the background, and my undervolt actually improved fps a bit, I'm going to try a fresh windows install and see if it helps

that means it probably is a thermal issue

where were you getting temps and is it a fe card?

With the undervolt my card doesnt get any hotter than 83 degrees, and clocks stay stable, sadly it is just a blower card

it sounds like your card has thermal issues what temps was it hitting without the undervolt?

maybe return your card and get one with a better cooling design
