Hello everyone,

I'm asking for a friend here, whose GPU (MSI GTX 980 Ti Golden Ed.) isn't being recognized after having run in my PC just fine for a few weeks. I wasn't there when they took it out, and swapped it over, so I place my bet on the possibility that they fried it while transplanting it. What was also weird was, that the computer wouldn't even show a splash screen when using the first BIOS, and stay on the debug Code 'AE' (Gigabyte Z87x-oc force), but that's a topic for a separate post. Switching over to the second BIOS fixed that.

Now I'm wondering wether or not the GPU, or the MoBo has some kind of defect. Does anybody here have experience with this? I haven't been able to find posts with this exact issue, and normally, I'd be more than capable to troubleshopot this, but I'm at a loss here, and would appreciate some feedback.

Thanks in advance, and stay awesome!

I love Small Form factor ITX rigs.
