Hi,

Wanted to know if iOS or Android is better for someone who will be configuring routers, switches, access points?

Cisco seems to have more support for iOS but iOS is fairly limited in terms of stuff like WPS and  using wifi analyser.

Not in the network engineering scene yet, so wanted someone with experience to give their opinion on which type of phone I should get, thanks in advance all!

Exactly why you should get an Android phone. iOS isn’t really designed to go much past the average user.

Be sure to get one that lets you flash whatever you want on it though, never know what you’ll need.

But when you are a network engineer, don't you have like specialized tools for these kinds of things? Like a laptop or like a stand alone wifi scanner or something?
Sorry, I'm not familiar yet with what they do in the industry
