Agreed. But if this guy is rich enough to buy a 4k monitor, he probably can add a third or fourth 780 ti. But that is just ridiculous...

For sure, but it would be money down the drain, 4th GPU add's nothing in many cases, and you need one hell of a CPU to back it up, a 5.5ghz 4960x may just about push 3 to max capacity.

No. Not 5 months. Dual 780ti's are very powerfull. They can easily last 2 years with 4k at ultra settings.

They can barely run 4K right now...

Upcoming games will be even more demanding than the current ones out.

I think dual 780 Ti's are wasteful, given that it's like only a little cheaper than three 780s and three 780s will destroy two 780 Ti's.
