I recently moved my PC into a fractal design core 500. Yesterday, I checked my cpu temperatures in the NZXT CAM software and it was above 100 degrees. I immediately shut it down and checked the thermal paste application etc. on my NZXT kraken 240mm cooler. It looked fine but just in case I reapplied a large helping of thermal paste just to make sure and I also set my fan curve to be 100% . When I booted up again the cpu temps were in the 80's and 90's but still not great. Keep in mind this is a completely stock Ryzen 2700x not overclocked at all. Just to make sure CAM wasn't telling me something wrong I downloaded the program "Core Temp". This program says that my cpu is running at a nice 20-30 degrees so I throttled the fans down a little. What should I do and which program should I believe? Attached below is a picture of my task manager, CAM software, and Core Temp software where you can see that the CAM software and the Core Temp software are showing drastically different temperatures. This is also with the outer case off so it is open to the air and the air blowing out of the cooler is cold to the touch if I feel it. In addition the fans for the AIO are oriented so that they pull the air from inside the case out. The only thing that seems to make sense between the two software's is that the CAM software has the "liquid temperature" around the same temperature as the Core Temp software claims the cpu temperature is at. I'm assuming that CAM is wrong and that the Core Temp program is correct but I thought that I would ask to see what people's thoughts on the matter are. Thank you in advance.

CAM has always been incredibly buggy. Its reporting the wrong temperature like you assumed. I'd suggest downloading a few other programs to see what they're reporting, but I'm 98% certain that its just CAM misreporting.

Yup, @Tantabus is right. CAM from NZXT has always been extremely buggy and NZXT just hasn't fixed it. Look into some other programs to check your temps.

Use HWInfo64 to check your temperatures, it's far less buggy than NZXT CAM.

Thank you both. I downloaded HWInfo64 and it agrees with the Core Temp program saying my cpu is at 20-30 degrees. I should be good then?
