Hello I have a 300w power supply in my Dell inspiron 3847 and I just want to know what is the best graphics card I can get for it.

I sadly don't know what it runs on I think its a PCI but I could be wrong I just need some help.

what CPU do you have because there is a core i3 and a core i5 version of the 3847...need more specs other than PSU...how much ram you have?

The CPU difference is major because the former is a dual core and the i5 is a quad core...graphics card choice should be based on that as well.

Technically a GPU that feed only from the PCIexpress slot should be fine...the fastest one available is the GTX 1050ti to my knowledge...this can do 1080p high 60hz with a quad core CPU

My CPU is the i5 4460 3.2 Ghz and I have 12GB ram

GTX 1050 or 1050ti shop for one that does not need a PCI express power connector and it'll run fine.

otherwise buy a new PSU and a RX 470 you'll get significantly more performance by doing that.

One more question I know that this isn't really related but if I were going for a PC but my dad says get the BEST of the BEST do you have any ideas also am I looking for just a PCI connector no PCI E

Don't always get the "best of the best", get the "best for your budget" instead.

If you don't have PCIe, then it's not worth getting any kind of dedicated GPU as your CPU's integrated GPU will outperform anything released on PCI.

I would recommend getting a new power supply, though.

You are probably not looking for PCI, an obsolete and useless standard. A picture of the inside of the case would help us identity PCI vs PCIe, or you could just Google it.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I need?
