Bottleneck?

I have a i5 7400 cpu, will a rtx 2070 bottleneck? If so, how severe of a bottleneck will it be?

Maybe a little bit, it is a year old and also an i5, but I mean I don't think it will bottleneck a whole lot, maybe lose a couple of Frames.

From this review (too lazy right now to find another review), it looks like you'll take a slight hit on average frame rates. However, minimums will definitely suffer. So if you get into a scene with a lot of action, expect hiccups and drops.

 

(Note the review used a video card of similar performance)
