I unplugged my computer while it was running so I could move it to my dads house because his internet is ten times as fast as mine.

I got there and pkugged it in. As soon as I did that, my computer would try to start by initiating the CPU fan and case fans for a fraction of a second before powering off and trying to boot again. This was in a continuous loop happening about once a second.

This makes the Lightning bolt light in the front flash on and off. I believe that’s the light that detects power from the motherboard.

Try holding down the power button for like 10 seconds or so, until it stops trying to turn itself on. Then turn it on normally and see what happens.

Holding the power button does nothing

Turn off the PSU switch. Press the power button. Turn PSU switch back on. Attempt to power on again.

As soon as I allow power into the psu it starts doing the loop no matter if I press the power button or not

If you can, try a different PSU.

I really can’t. Should I just try unplugging everything.

It's worth a try, yeah.

After I unplug it all from the psi what should I do

Probably just plug it all back in.

If you can't test with any other working components, there's not really much you can do.

Unplugging everything worked. Not sure what was wrong. It’s weird.

I am curious what the cause of the issue was. Very weird as I’ve never seen anything like it before.

I think that because you unplugged it while it was running, you just needed to force it to power cycle.

Usually that happens to me if I'm using my PC and there's a power outage; I'll just force my PC to shutdown when the power starts to go out, and then turn it on normally once it comes back.
