Game Freezes, Drops Frames constantly

Its one game only to be exact, CS:GO. my PC is running an athlon II x4 and gtx 660, im just planning to upgrade in january but i havent really encountered this a few months ago.

mh did you check the thermals? Might be thermal throttling, or rather would be my best guess with the given information. Do you see drops in clock speed or high thermals

It's been sitting on 45- 50C. and it is dropping clock speeds thats the mhz right?  any solution to this?

gpu or cpu?

 

GPU will drop clock speeds in csgo, its an easy game to render that is almost always bottlenecked by the CPU not the GPU. If your CPU is dropping clock speed in csgo I don't really know what would cause this on AMD.

HWInfo, but just launch sensors only.
