Hard Drive is split in two

Hi there

 

My hard drive is split. I want it to be as one, instead of two (currently when I go into format the disk one becomes 231gb and one becomes 1.6TB)

Simply deleting one and then clicking extend DOES NOT work.

 

Please help!
