ok so my company is upgrading computers from some old shit and i was wondering what would they do with those old machines is it thrown away, used somewhere else or sommin else(what do most people do)

 

ps i cant as the people around me because the have no idea

Well if they are anything like that companies i know then the parts are scraped. maybe if its an expensive part and it works then it will be put in a refurb section otherwise majority of the time it dies. Also thanks for not asking me.

Do they own the gear? most companies will lease gear, and they will come in, take all the gear, then re-sell or re-purpose.

Some will part them off and sell parts, if they can't sell anymore they recycle them most of the time.

Sell them off in bulk. On eBay, you will be able to buy like a pallete of old busines computeres for £2000

If they're smart, someone or company/business is buying them to recycle or resell, and first wiping the drives.

 

If they're not smart they are paying someone to take them away and getting pwned by some hacker(s).

Speaking of upgrading alot if computers. The other day in school I was walking to class and looked outside and seen a trailer of old win2000 pc's and old crt's that are in the middle of being replaced for nice I5 pc's. I was thinking what a waste. It was also raining so I'm pretty sure they're ruined.
