Freesync or Gync

I'm currently looking to buy a new GPU + monitor and I'm wondering if anyone can steer me in the right direction of

which one to pick? These will be paired with 16gb DDR4-3000 and i7-8600k

 

AMD option

Monitor

GPU

 

Nvidia option

Monitor

GPU

 

My main question is if its worth it to go with gsync? Keep in mind I'm coming from an R9 270x and a 10-year-old 1080p 60hz monitor.

There isn't much difference between the two. I would go with AMD because its cheaper and as far as I know, V64 is more powerful than RTX2070.

Don’t think it is more powerful, I sent back my 64 due to coil whine and got a 2070 instead and it is about the same or better in games, expect Forza Horizon 4, that ran at about 10 more FPS on the 64.

You pay more for Nvidia gpus & will also pay more for a G-Sync monitor, other than that which ever you prefer not much difference.
