Can we confirm that the BSOD error file does in fact point to the soundcard please?

There is a DAC on your sound card PCB, that is essentially the point of a sound card. It converts digital information to an analogue sound so you can actually hear it. But if you turn the DAC into an external part it no longer get's the same level of interference leading to a far better result in converting digital to analogue. The one job your DAC is meant to do is to as cleanly as possible convert digital to analogue if it's not doing that reasonably well then it's not doing it's job.

 

And considering if you get an external DAC manufactured by experienced audio manufacturers you will for sure experience far less problems and features that are far better implemented.

 

If I was you and I was at one point because I also had an ASUS Xonar card a very long time ago I would ditch the internal cards and pick up a cheap USB DAC. It's the sort of thing that you plug in and it works straight away with no hassle at all. It's been plugged in for years now and never had any problems at all. I use a Fiio E10 none K. There are a bunch of manufacturers to go to, Fiio is very good, SMSL, Onkyo, xDuoo, schiit. If youw ant any other recommendations go here https://www.reddit.com/r/ZReviews/ just tell them your budget and they will tell you what is best. But honestly anything from those manufacturers is going to be superb. 

 

Once again never buy any internal sound card, they are all trash. 

Don't be obsessed and fanatical about one thing man. Chill.

The BSOD

Minor correction. I'm using the drivers supplied with the card... there was some mentioning, in the comments section of the supplier about faulty drivers but I used the win 7 drivers with succes on my 10 pro

Still happening having uninstalled asus drivers and installed unix driver mo bob v1.75
