Hello guys,

I recently bought a new pc that I’ve build myself. Everything works fine but I have no sound unfortunately. I have tried some things allready but nothing works for me. So here I am, I hope some of you will be able to help me out.

More details:

I have an RTX 2080 from ASUS. When I use the GPU I have no sound coming from my monitor. When I use my motherboard everything works fine.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,

Lander

Does your monitor even have speakers? If not, you'll need to connect a 3,5mm cable from the monitor's pass-through port to your motherboard's green output jack.

Also, audio isn't transmitted over DVI or VGA, only HDMI and DP and when the display is set als the output device in Windows.
