Hello guys, So after a faulty Gpu and what i thought was a faulty motherboard, I RMA'd them both.

So when i put to channels of ram in the recommended slot it crashes upon boot.

Test each stick in every slot and they work fine and tested them both in different channels then it doesnt boot up perfect.

I will be honest i bent a pin on my cpu and i kind of think that is the backlash of it.

What do you guys think?

without knowing what cpu and mb nobody can help, um if you bent a pin... you obviously straightened it with precision and made sure it still "fell into the socket" yes or no ?

sometimes manuals are wrong / don't include your specific hardware so makes it a guessing game of trial and error,

with my build I had the ram in the wrong slots causing me a constant bsod 13 different ones in total, moved both sticks over a slot each and happy days no bsod since.

IF you have no manual, no information and cant find any, time to try different slots if they work individually I don't think you have damaged your cpu

try together, try with a slot in the middle of them etc etc sometimes you have colors sometimes you dont

"if it boot up perfect" in any state your on the right path
