So my computer has always run csgo at like 200-300fps (depends), but now it suddenly is at around 50-100 fps, which is painful because I have a 144hz monitor and I am used to it. Also pubg was before at around 60-90fps, now 40. What could be the problem, or do I just need to buy a new pc?
specs:
AMD Ryzen 3 1200 quad-core processor, 3,50ghz (not overclocked)

ram 8gb

windows 10 pro 64bit

geforce gtx 1050ti

It might need some new thermal paste, or just a good clean. Take it out of your system and see whether it is covered in dust, or the heatsink seems displaced or something...

Also what are the actual temps you are getting ?

It could be you accidentally adjusted the fan curve to silent or something like that...

I don't think they included thermal paste in the package ?
