Alternative Air cooling solution GTX1080ti

KhanBB

Hey Guys!

First of all: sorry, if I am writing some nonsense, I am not a native english speaker.

And surely this topic is already covered, I guess.

My question:

Actually I am using a GTX1080ti in Reference Design by PNY.

I am searching for a netter cooling solution. I never watercooled before, so my question is split in two:

Are there any other air cooling solutions then for example a Morpheus II?

And if I am going to watercool, is there any ONLY GPU watercooling-solution?

I am using an EKL Alpenföhn Olymp air cooler on my CPU, thats plenty of cooling.

Thanks for any advise and greetings from Germany!

The morpheus II is great, a guy on a discord server I'm on put one on his 1080 Ti and the temps are amazing, but IMO it's kinda ugly. Another good option is a 120mm AIO + mounting kit, but those will probs cost more than the morpheus + 2 fans.

I don't know anything about reference cards, maybe more case fans? but water cooling is available at NZXT with their Kraken G12, you would need to take off the ref cooler and install this bracket, you'll also need to buy an AIO that is compatible, this link is to NZXT for this product https://www.nzxt.com/products/kraken-g12-white if you don't trust the link from a stranger on the web, look up NZXT Kraken G12 and it should come up. it claims to be compatible with the 1080ti but I would double check but it is a cheaper solution than custom water cooling and is better than air. JayzTwoCents has a video on it and how to install and whatnot here

Checked both, but the g12 and a cpu watercooling solution will get to around 200€/200$. Thats a bit much.

Anyone else with a great idea of cooling the GPU alone? Thx again!
