Typing this on one right now, brown keyswitches, blue backlight.

Incredibly well build for the price, nice and clean looking, of course amazing to type on, what else do you want to know?

There are no multimedia keys, and I use them quite often. Can I change some of the function keys to work as multimedia keys with a software?

i don't think you can. There's no software included at all, there may be some third party software that does what you want, but I haven't looked into that.

As you probably already know, there are volume keys.

If you really want media keys, Corsair K70 is a good option as well.

Blue themed PCs doesn't go well with red keyboards... am I right? ;) But seriously, I'm really specific. I need the keyboard exactly to be blue backlit and has brown MX switches... and I don't mind if I use a 3rd party software for the media keys... I'll use anything. I'm quite picky when it comes to first time products (yes, this will be my first mechanical keyboard)

Edit:

I searched and there is actually a blue backlit K70. But it is kinda rare (the blue backlit model) here at our place, and I don't trust shipping. And it is much more expensive, so no thanks.

There is actually a Cherry MX Brown Gunmetal w/ Blue backlight K70 version, has more lighting features and such than the DK2018s, but is also more expensive.

And I don't know if it's possible to do that kind of stuff with 3rd party software.

Are you maybe using a mouse with extra buttons? Because you could maybe configure some media functions on your mouse buttons.

Nope. Only a CPI Toggle on my Kinzu V2 and I don't think I can configure it.
