I'm looking to do some gaming on this computer. I'm coming from a laptop with a 970m, and an i7 4720hg. I'd like to have this system sort of future proofed, but I'd like to spend $1500 ideally.

get a cheaper cooler, you dont need a 360 rad for the 8700k even if you over clock it.  also why pro?  just get a code of ebay or kingwin or something like that for $10
