M.2 as boot drive

rparent

I will be doing a new build with a Samsung 970 Evo 500 gb nvme m.2. my question is do I need to change any settings in bios prior to my install of windows 10. Ive been reading all of the issues I can run into if I don't change certain settings with csm and changing my boot to UEFI. I just don't want to break anything ?

MOBO is ASUS TUF Z370-PLUS

You should be fine. It work good for me, but after installing windows, make sure to set it as a boot drive.
