Hi guys!

Problem:

So a few days ago I have bought a new computer and installed Battlefield V and Witcher 3. Everything works fine, but there is this thing: FPS drops happen in both games. When looking through MSI Afterburner (game session took a few minutes in the middle of the chart, there were several FPS drops, see screenshot), I have noticed that the drops are in GPU usage and Power %. FPS drops are approximately from 60 FPS to 30 FPS, the game stutters for like half a second. Both temperatures, GPU and CPU, are around 60 °C, so there should not be a problem. The task manager shows big GPU spikes to 100%. I think, it could be something in the GPU or CPU power settings.

What did not work:

Reinstall Nvidia drivers
Update Windows to 1809
Lower game settings
Turn off v-sync
Set "maximum performance" in the power management settings
Scan computer for malware and viruses

The next step will probably be reinstalling Windows. Everything in computer is new, so it should run smoothly. Thanks kindly for any advice, this really bothers me.

Configuration:

OS: Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64
MB: ASRock B450 Pro4
CPU:  AMD Ryzen 5 2600X

GPU: MSI GeForce RTX 2070

RAM: HyperX 16GB DDR3 3200MHz Predator Series

SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB

Power suply: EVGA 600W
