Screen Goes Black When 144Hz Is on

So this never really happen until now. I just recently built a new system and I am running a I7 8700k 16gb of ram, A gtx 1080ti Gigabyte and a Asus Rog Swift Z370-H. All Stock Settings. And whenever I go into say Black ops 4 or Rainbow Six siege and I change my display settings to my Main Monitor which is a MSI 24inch Curved 144HZ (Optix G24C) and turn the Refresh Rate to 144HZ. But when the setting change my screens Blacks out and I can't get a display. Monitor is still on and I can still move my mouse and hear the game sounds, I just can't see anything. But when I tab out, I get a display again. I am unsure what is causing the issue and would like some help.
